Routine Foot Health Services

First Appointment & Treatment

Fees - Clinic £65 | Home Visit £70

If I haven’t seen you before, this is the appointment you’ll need to book first. It includes your registration, a full medical overview, history taking, and a chance to discuss any concerns you may have. We’ll also begin planning any ongoing treatment based on your individual needs with treatment commencing at this appointment.

Once you’ve booked, I’ll send you an email with more information, along with an online form to complete and return before your appointment. If you change your mind, you can cancel easily as long as it’s more than 24 hours before your scheduled time.

The details you provide will help me understand your background and tailor your appointment so I can give you the most appropriate and effective care possible.

Routine Follow Up

Fees - Clinic £55 | Fee - Home Visit £58

If I’ve seen you within the past 12 months, this is the appointment you’ll need to book. It covers treatment for any foot health concerns we’ve already discussed and managed together.

If you’re experiencing a new problem, or if you’re unsure whether this appointment is suitable, please don’t hesitate to contact me before booking—I’ll be happy to advise.

Once your appointment is booked, you’ll receive a confirmation email. And if you decide not to proceed, you can cancel easily as long as it’s more than 24 hours before your appointment time.

Express Follow Up (Clinic Only)

Fees - £39 (Clinic Only)

If I’ve seen you within the past 12 months and you only need a simple treatment—such as a toenail trim or removal of a single corn I’ve already treated—this is the right appointment for you.

Please note that if, when I see you, I feel your feet require more time or a more comprehensive approach, I may need to upgrade this to a Routine Follow-Up appointment, provided time allows. If you’re unsure whether this shorter appointment is suitable, feel free to get in touch with me before booking.

Once you’ve booked, you’ll receive an appointment confirmation by email. If you change your mind, you can cancel easily as long as it’s more than 24 hours before your appointment.

Reassessment From Archive (for any patient not seen in over a year)

Fees - Clinic £65 | Home Visit £70

Please book this appointment if I’ve seen you before, but it’s been more than 12 months since your last visit.

Fungal Toenail Assessment & Testing

Fees - Clinic & Home Visits £125

This appointment is specifically for assessing fungal nail concerns. It includes a full assessment, any necessary testing, and a discussion about possible treatment options. If a treatment plan is needed, I’ll go through it with you and we’ll arrange a separate appointment to get started.

If I haven’t seen you before—or if it’s been more than 12 months since your last appointment—this session will also include clinic registration, a medical overview, and history taking, which you’ll complete in advance using an online form.

Fungal Toenail Test Only

Fees - Clinic & Home Visits £60

This appointment is for a fungal nail test only and must be booked alongside a First Appointment, Routine Follow-Up, or Reassessment From Archive (Over 12 Months) appointment.

Please be aware that depending on the test result and the treatment options we discuss, it may not be possible to begin a fungal treatment protocol during your booked session.

If you’re simply looking to find out whether your toenail is fungal, you may be better suited to booking a Fungal Toenail Assessment & Testing appointment instead—this allows more time for discussion and planning your next steps.

Toenail Reconstruction

Fees From £80 (see below)

Before booking this appointment, you must have attended a Routine First Appointment, a Reassessment from Archive Appointment, or have seen me within the last 12 months. This ensures I’ve been able to assess your nail and determine whether reconstruction is appropriate.

Toenail reconstruction is a specialised treatment designed for nails that are damaged, thickened, fungal, or even partially or completely missing. I use a professional product called PediSafe—a two-part system that includes a soft, rubbery base layer to protect any existing nail, followed by a durable resin top layer for strength and appearance.

This treatment can be used alongside fungal nail care, as part of an overall plan to improve both the look and health of your nails.

The finished result looks and feels like a natural toenail. It can be cut, filed, left natural, or finished with a nail colour of your choice. Please note, there is an additional charge if more than one toenail is being reconstructed—this can be discussed when booking.

Important:
Please do not shower or bathe your feet on the day of your appointment. Any excess moisture under the nail plate may prevent the reconstruction from being successfully applied.

Toenail Bracing

Fees - From £80

Before booking this appointment, you must have attended a Routine First Appointment, a Reassessment from Archive Appointment, or have seen me within the last 12 months. This is so I can assess whether your nail is suitable for bracing.

Nail bracing is a simple and effective treatment for painful or involuted (curved) nails. It offers a non-surgical alternative to more invasive procedures—no needles, no anaesthetic, no downtime, and you can return to normal activities straight away.

Much like orthodontic braces for teeth, nail bracing works by gently correcting the shape of the nail over time. This helps reduce pain, prevents the nail from curling inwards, and lowers the risk of recurrent ingrown toenails.

Fungal Toenail Treatments

Before starting treatment, you must have attended a Fungal Nail Assessment & Testing Appointment, or had a Fungal Toenail Test with me to confirm that you have a fungal nail infection that requires treatment.

I offer a range of treatment options depending on the severity and extent of the infection. These include:

Topical Treatments
The Lacuna Method
Toenail Reconstruction (as a temporary prosthetic cover-up)
Referral for Toenail Surgery to a trusted podiatrist
Referral for Prescribed Oral Antifungal Medication

Important Note
It’s important to understand that fungal toenail infections can take a considerable amount of time to resolve, and successful treatment requires commitment and consistency. In many cases, it may take 12 to 24 months to fully clear a fungal infection from the nails. I’ll be here to support and guide you through whichever treatment path you choose.

The Lacuna Method
This is a highly effective treatment for fungal nails. It involves creating tiny, pin-sized holes in the infected nail plate. These holes allow antifungal medication to reach the nail bed—where the infection lives—so the treatment can actively target and destroy the fungus at its source.

Topical Treatments
In some cases, especially when the infection is mild or caught early, a topical antifungal treatment may be the most suitable option. This involves applying medication directly to the nail and surrounding skin on a regular basis. I’ll guide you on how to apply it effectively and monitor your progress.

If you’re unsure which treatment is right for you, don’t worry—that’s what the assessment is for. I’ll talk you through the options based on your individual needs and create a treatment plan tailored specifically for you.

Verrutop Verrucae Treatment

Fees From £80 (see below)

To book this treatment, you must have attended a Routine First Appointment, a Reassessment from Archive Appointment, or have seen me within the last 12 months. This allows me to assess whether verrucae are present and if Verrutop is a suitable treatment option for you.

How Effective is Verrutop?
As with all verruca treatments, there’s no guaranteed outcome. However, Verrutop has shown a success rate of over 70%, and in my experience, it often proves more effective than many other options. This may be due to how straightforward it is to apply and manage, which helps patients stay consistent with the treatment plan.

How Many Treatments Will I Need?
On average, most people require around 3 treatments. Some verrucae respond after just 1 or 2 sessions, while others—especially larger or more stubborn ones—may take up to 6 treatments. It’s also important to note that, as with all treatments, there is a small percentage of people who may not respond at all.

How Many Verrucae Can Be Treated With One Ampoule?
This depends on the size of the verrucae, but typically up to 3 average-sized verrucae can be treated with a single ampoule of Verrutop. I’ll assess this during your appointment to ensure the most efficient and effective use of the treatment.
