Verruca Treatment

Initial Verruca Assessment with First Verrutop Treatment – £65 (if this is your first appointment with Belinda)
Follow up Verrutop Treatment – price to include 1 ampule, treating as many verrucae as possible (usually 3 verrucae maximum) – £52
Additional Ampoule – £20 per ampoule
Surgical Spirit for usage between Treatment (200ml) – £4
FAQ’S
HOW EFFECTIVE IS VERRUTOP?
As with all treatment for a verruca, there is no guarantee of success. Verrutop is shown to have a higher than 70% success rate. However, anecdotally, it seems to be more successful than other treatment methods. This is likely due in part to ease of use and the simplicity of the treatment as more patients adhere to the ongoing management
HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL IT TAKE?
The average number of treatments required is 3. As with any treatment, this will vary. Many require only 1 or 2 treatments but for a large, stubborn verruca, as many as 6 treatments may be required. It is important to note, however, that there is a small percentage of people for whom it will have no effect
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT AT MY APPOINTMENT?
Before any Verructop treatments take place, your Foot Health Practitioner will dicuss with you the treatment process to ensure you are happy with how it will all take place.
HOW MANY VERRUCAE CAN BE TREATED WITH ONE AMPOULE?
The size of the verruca will determine how many verrucae can be treated with a single ampoule. However, for average sized verrucae, approximately 3 can be treated

Ear Wax Removal
Microsuction
Microsuction undertaken correctly by a trained clinician is a pain free method used to remove wax from ear canals when irrigation isn’t possible, for example because of a perforated ear drum or grommets, where any water in the ear canal could enter the inner ear and cause problems.
Irrigation
Warm water irrigation, gently removes the wax by using a controlled, low pressure water jet which is angled towards the ear canal wall rather than at the actual blockage (which may push the wax deeper and cause discomfort or ear pain).
Manual Removal
Under the steady hand of our trained clinician, and guided with a specula, we can use a variety of sterile manual wax removal tools to clear stubborn and hard to remove blockages.
Appointment Preparation
Please ensure that you have, or will use olive oil eardrops for 2-3 times per day, for three days leading up to the appointment. Without this, we risk not being able to fully remove any highly compacted build ups of wax.
We recommend Earol Olive Oil Spray for this purpose and do have a few available for purchase, please contact us to if you wish to purchase a bottle from us.
PLEASE DO NOT USE any ear drops containing sodium bicarbonate. This can cause the wax to fragment and make removal difficult or impossible to accomplish.
Pricing
We offer fair pricing, and will never charge you for wax removal if it’s not needed. We use the latest in video otoscope technology so we can show you exactly what’s going 0n in your ears before and after, and if nothing needs doing, we’ll just charge an Ear Check Fee

Fungal Nail Testing
Utilising the PreventID Dermatophyte Test. A simple test which returns clear and accurate results.
Published studies have shown the Dermatophyte Test Strip to be 97% accurate as compared to a visual diagnosis being only 67% accurate.
Results in around 5 minutes.
